I have 2 text field in a database one text field can enter unlimited characters but the other one LIMITED up to 717 characters. I checked both field setting are same. Does anyone know why? We're using FMP 5.0 Thanks.

why dont you post an example file so we can take a look.

Check if there's a field validation limiting the number of characters.
