Will a portal relationship not work if its linked to second occurance of a table? If so, is there a way around it?

What do you mean by second occurence? Can you give us a graph or samp[le file?

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. Look at the blue portal to see what I mean.

You have 2 TOG's (Table Occurence Groups). You need another layout to show the second group. Your layout is based on the TO Main which is part of the top TOG. The portal that does not work is part of the bottom TOG.

How did you create this portal?
