chrisho30 Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Server : FM 5 Server (Windows NT 4 /w SP6) Client : FMP 5 (Windows NT 4 /w SP6) Can I write a batch command file to create a compressed database copy? If it is possible, what command it is. Thanks.
QuinTech Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Not as far as I know. But you could create a FileMaker file that does one thing: Calls a script in the file you want to compress with one step, namely, Save a Compressed Copy. You could then run that file from a batch file or in another way. HTH, Jerry
