Money field losing its 2 decimal points

When I create a export file from a calculated calculated field, which is really a number of fields concatenated, the price field amongst them shows up without the two decimal points, which the source field is formatted to deliver - where there is 50p, it shows up as .5

The displayed format of the field--the way the field is seen by viewers--is different than the actual value in the field.
