Peter Lars Jensen Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Hi, I have a problem with FMPro and pictures in a container. It is a single user version of FMPro 6 installed on a OSX Server. I have started up the database on the server and enabled sharing over TCP. The database looks fine when viewed and browsed on the server. But when I log in from a client machine (with a single user FMPro 6 installed) via TCP over the net, something goes wrong. The database looks fine eccept from the pictures (JPG). In all the pict-fields the pictures are now missing and instead it says something like this: "Could not draw picture file: 11547-abc.jpg". Again everything is fine in the local shared version, but it looks like it can not find the link to the specified picture-folder when served over the net to the clients. I know this solution can only run with max. approx. 10 users, but why will the picts not show up correctly? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Tony O Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 Sounds like the .jpg file was inserted into the database with the "store only a reference to" checkbox checked. Try reinserting the .jpg without that option. Tony
