Dynamic Layouts?

Featured Replies

So...I'm coming along in my FM education...and enjoying it! Here's what I'm trying to accomplish now and I can't find an answer (that is obvious to me anyway) in my FM books/manuals. Imagine if you will a Layout which looks like this (I'll call it "LayoutA"):

-LayoutA-

Field01

Field02

Field03

Field04

Field05

Next, imagine that I have the solution working so I can "hide" any of these fields when displayed in a different Layout...let's call it LayoutB. So I can create something like this if I hide Field02 and Field04:

-LayoutB-

Field01

Field03

Field05

So, the question here is...is there a way that I can "close up" the remaining fields vertically? In other words, what I would like LayoutB to look like is this:

-LayoutB-

Field01

Field03

Field05

Now I'm thinking I might be able to do this with a Portal/Portal Rows...but I'm not a sharp enough tack yet to figure that one out. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
