I have a set of 23 .fp5 files for which the administrator password is lost. This was setup by a 3rd party who did not give us the admin password. We just realized it now, when we wanted to make a change on a layout and a field definition. We cnnot get it from them, and I have only found Password cracking programs for 4.0 and below. Are there programs for 5/6? Also, does anyone know the cost of having Filemaker open the files, and if you have done this, do they just remove the passwords, or tell you what they are (so we could do 1 versus 23 files!)?

Any help would be appreciated. Thx!

It can grab password for 5/6 and 7 too !

Hopefully no one used the developer tool to remove the administrator password. Then you'd be SOL.
