Curtis_B Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Hello everyone, last year I set up filemaker instant web publishing in plain old Pro 7. I was pleased with everything except for the fact that it would only display 5 records at a time (my main layout was a list view). I want web users to be able to see ALL records in their found set, not just 5 at a time. I've read through a lot of documentation on Server 7 and Server Advanced, and have not yet found a definate answer to this question. Can I still use IWP and display more than 5 records at a time through either of the forementioned programs? Do I need to use Custom Web Publishing making use of the xml/xslt functionality? I'm willing to spend the time to learn whatever I need to, but I'd hate to invest the time and money with FMSA only to find out that I cannot accomplish this simple goal. The typical query would return 20-50 records and I'd like them to be all on-screen at once for my customers to view. Your input is very much appreciated. Thanks Curt
Curtis_B Posted May 5, 2005 Author Posted May 5, 2005 Sorry folks, I now realize that not only did I post this in the wrong forum, but there's already a thread all about this issue: http://www.fmforums.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=122601&an=0&page=0#122601 Don't waste your time.
Martin Brändle Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 You should get the 7v3 IWP update published this week at http://www.filemaker.com/support/updaters.html . It allows now to display 25 records per screen in
Curtis_B Posted May 5, 2005 Author Posted May 5, 2005 Perfect, thanks Martin. Time to get the boss's credit card out
