I have taken a FM5 database and converted it into a FM7 database.

I have rebuilt the solution (many many months in the works) and now want

to take the old information and import it into the new solution.

I can not import into calculation fields and am having trouble with the old database

in regards to making the data workable, meaning that some of the old fields are

calculations themselves. I would prefer to have all info go straight

over but with the calculation fields in the new dbase that doesn't seem possible.

I'm dealing with over 15,000 records, so hand-fixing the erroneous records is

a major task in itself. Sorry if this is confusing...any starting points?

of course after posting then spending some more time with the dbases, i figured

it out.

it will take many many imports of different found sets, but it should work.
