Field and popup list

Hi

I am new to filemaker and am stuck.

Is it possible to have a field like "wine_producer" and once it has a value entered (a record has been saved) , on the next entry the field becomes a popup list and the user can pick from the existing entry for selecting the wine producer?

Thanks your reply, I already thought about that one, but my problem is that the producers list can become big. It is not just a few producers. In Italy you can have hundreds.

I know I can have edit list option, but I do not want the user to edit the existing ones.

Thats what an Edit Box is designed for, type the first few letters of the Wine Producers name and it jumps to that part of the list. This makes navigating long lists much easier.
