Script...the same as double clicking in container

Featured Replies

In FM, if you import a file reference into a container field, you can double click on the container (MAC) and the file reference will open. If it is a PDF file, it will open in acrobat. If a photoshop file, it will open in photoshop, etc.

Is there a script that will act the same as double clicking in the container field?

LR

Go to Field [ Select/Perform, the field ]

It will work on fields that have Field Behavior set to non-entry if it's a script step. It will not work on those as a single step attached to a button (ie., no script). At least that's what I'm finding.

Hi Fenton,

True. That's because of the general principle that scripts over-ride layout field behavior settings, whereas buttons are constrained by them. wink.gif
