Just copy the selection portal row???

Featured Replies

Hi all, In the 1 record I have 10 portal lines, what I need is when I just click check box field (click about 5 portal only) and they only copy the 5 portal I'm click to the new record. Can this be done?

I was think this solution about 2 weeks, hope anyone can help! Thank!

I have a suggestion, which works... although I have a hunch that something simpler might do the trick ...exploiting the bidirectionality of relations. This crude version uses an old filemaker algorithm - Investigate the upload, one thing to note is the sortorder of the portal.

Meanwhile have another forum member asked me via private postings, how to tweak this template into publishing the selected records to others selected in a similar way with a portal next to it, containing checkboxes as well.

Well please read cautioning carefully - because when you think duplication isn't it always relational healthy. The main aim with relational databases is to store everything in one single spot, to make it as easy as posible to syncronize. This is done with relational structures that makes the same record pop up all over the place, and certainly not in dupli- or triplicates.

Only historic data such as invoices, can't be turned into a many2many structure.
