Accessing Popup Menu by typing in letters

I have just moved a large application from FM5 to FM7 and am encountering a lot of differences. The latest relates to the behaviour of popup menus. The popup menu in question is based on a value list which references the Client file - so what you see is an alphabetical list of client names. In FM5 you could get to the right part of the list by typing in the first few letters - "Jo" for John etc. This isnt there in my version of FM7 - any way of getting this functionality back ?

I can see that the value list I am using gives me the client code which is numeric, folowed by the client name. In FM5 I could type in the first few letters of the client name and the value list took me to the relevant data. Now in FM7 the value list only reacts if I type in the numeric client code. Is there any way round this that anyone knows ?

I finally solved this one. The problem lies in FM7 v2. When I upgraded to FM7 v 3 using the free download from FM, the problem was solved.
