multiple columns for a portal?

Is there any way to show the values from one portal in a multi-column format? So, for instance you could have the portal as 4 columns of 5 values each? I think I know the answer to this one but thought it was worth a shot.

Use four portals that all use the same relationship. In the Portal Setup dialog, you can set the start row for the portal (along with the number of rows to show.) So the first portal would start at 1 and have 5 rows, the second would start at 6 and have 5 rows, etc.
