Scroll Bar on Container Fields?

I recently imported pdf's into container fields, a scroll bar automatically appeared on pdf's with more than one page. Now when I manually enter multiple page pdf's (right click container, insert picture) the scroll bar does not appear. How do I get the scroll bar? FM help says container fields cannot have scroll bars but obviously they can.
