Generating a field name via calculation

Featured Replies

I seem to think that I've done this before, but now can't quite remember how. ???-) I'd like to be able to reference a field name via a calculation.

I have a number of fields called Amount1, Amount2, Amount3, etc. I can't use a repeating field for various reasons. I'd like to write a script that uses a global as a counter. I'd then like to reference Amount1 in the script by generating the field name using "Amount" and the value of the global.

Thanks!

Try getfield()???

getfield("Amount" & gCounter)
