Newbies Matthijs Posted June 3, 2005 Newbies Posted June 3, 2005 I am running Filemaker server (trial) on a Windows 2003 machine. I copied the databases in the database folder and Filemaker Server see's them and he says they are open. Now when i try to open the DB from Filemaker pro 7 (also trial) on thesame machine it only see's the sample_configuration and not the files i added. I enabled the option to see folder i don't have right's to figuring that may help but the're still invisible.
Reed Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Do the databases have the fmapp extended privilege enabled? You'll have to shut down the server and open the files directly to test this. Also, it's not a great idea to open FMP client on the same machine while the server is up and running. Too much chance that you'll open a served file directly.
Newbies Matthijs Posted June 6, 2005 Author Newbies Posted June 6, 2005 Where do i check if they have fmapp extended privelege enabled? I can't find it in the Filemaker Pro or Filemaker Server help file's. Running the FFMP CLient on thesame pc is only temporary for testing and such.
