Trying to create conditional value list

Featured Replies

I am attaching a file that has 3 tables. All I want to happen is on the Popup layout, when you select a supplier from the popup list, have only the contact names that pertain to that supplier come up in the contact name popup. I have done all I know an have read countless posts but am still unable to figure it out. Please hook a brother up!

Phil:

The reasons you weren't having any luck with this were because you had too many lookups (things were cross-referencing across one-another) and your value lists were not restricted to only show related values. Enclosed is a corrected version, where if you select the supplier ID on the popup layout, it sets the supplier name, and allows you to only select related names from the contact list. There are much better ways to do this...

Stanley,

Thanks for the help. That gets me a good start. I'm sure there are much better ways of doing what I was after, but I don't think I'm ready for anything too difficult yet.
