This special notice is to let you know that the first podcast of FMPug is now airing. Last night Dan Weiss of Buddy Systems and Andy Gaunt of FMPug got together to discuss FMPug.

So, we invite you to stop by the Podcast website and listen as Dan & Andy discuss the functionality of FMPug and the many benefits of membership.

http://podcast.buddysystems.com/

I was extremely excited to have the chance to speak with Dan regarding FMPug and get our message out to all those that have not heard of FMPug or do not fully understand the benefits of FMPug membership.

So, for all you people who have not had the chance to talk directly to me, this is almost as good as the real thing (so I have heard!).

Among the topics discussed

[*] How FMPug came to be

[*] The cost of membership

[*] The benefits of membership

[*] The new FMPug.com

[*] The future of FMPug

We have another podcast lined up for two weeks out where we will be discussing the new website in more detail and what goes into creating a truly dynamic, FileMaker Pro driven website.

Other guests include...

Buddy Systems are lining up some fantastic guest speakers in the next few months and have already started off on the right foot. Available to listen to right now are;

Steven H. Blackwell - FileMaker Security

Beverly Voth - FileMaker on the web

Yours truly! - FMPug

Upcoming guests include Delfina Daves of FileMaker inc and ...oh yeah... me again!

So, please stop by the podcast site and support Buddy Systems in this endeavor. And any feedback you have, please do not hesitate to let me know and I will pass it on to Dan.

RSVP - It really does help

To aid us in getting RSVP's we have installed some new security. Trust me he is ferocious...so please help us out by filling in this short form. It really does help the local coordinators plan.

You can find the RSVP form at this address, http://www.pug-planet.com/rsvp.php

Are you attending DevCon?

Several members have got in touch asking us if we were interested or knew anyone who wanted to share a room at DevCon. With this in mind we are offering to put you in touch with other like minded individuals who are looking to save some money on the hotel accommodations and instead spend it in the bar (or the vendor showcase!)

So, email us at [email protected] with your name, email address and contact number and we will put you in touch with anyone else interested in sharing a room.

I hope you enjoy the podcast and look forward to hearing any and all feedback from you. Have a great weekend.

(and we're out!...so Dan, how do you think I sounded?)
