Having trouble exporting to endicia via XML/XSL

Featured Replies

I'm trying to export my Filemaker data to endicia using an XSL stylsheet to XML. It was working find until I tried to add another attribute. I must confess I am almost clueless with XSL - I've just been trying to plod through it.

I've been trying for 30 minutes to post the code but the browser just interprets it and shows nothing so I've attached the question and code in a text file.

I'm sure it is an easy fix for you guys. Please take a look at it.

Thanks,

Carey

Apparently the browser ate the text file too :D-) Or you forgot to attach it. You should probably zip it also, just to be sure.

I don't see anything wrong with it. The /> ending on Services is just a shorthand way of closing an empty element. I tried all 4 XSLT processors available in TestXSLT (incl. Xalan-J, which is I think what FileMaker uses) and all 4 used it for that element.

Can you ask endicia? I would be interested to know the answer.

After an hour of pulling my hair out, I figured it out. I was using DeliveryConfirmation = "YES|NO" and it was supposed to be DeliveryConfirmation = "ON|OFF". Once I changed it, everything worked fine. Thank you for your help. After you said the XSL was fine it pushed me to look somewhere else.

Thanks,

Carey
