Dialog box erasing the screen

When a dialog box appears in front of another layout in FileMaker 7, it erases the screen behind it. That is, if a print dialog box comes up and I move it around, it acts like an eraser clearing out everything behind it (thus you can't see what you are about to print).

This only happens on WIndows XP (Mac OS X doesn't erase). Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

Sounds like you are using an older video card or may need more memory on your computer. FM7 is a memory hog so is XP. I'd recomend at least a 64mb video card and 512mb of memory on your computer.
