Hi All,

This is my first post on the forum. I created a run-time FM Pro 7 database for a small business last year. For them it is important to run in kiosk mode (to restrict some user access and also keep things simple).

Their needs have recently changed and now I need to create a networked database, but I would like to keep the kiosk mode. I understand that the runtime solutions are not networkable. Is there any way to share a FM 7 Pro database (they have less than 5 clients) to seperate FM Pro 7 clients running in kiosk mode?

Thanks for your help!

Steven

Aha, I figured it out. I didn't realize that one could check the kiosk mode without checking the runtime solution in the developer utilities.

Next question: My database relies on text fields, pulldown menus and check boxes for data imput. However, when shared, all the clients attempt to edit the same temporary fields (thus overwriting each other if two people are typing at once). Is there a way to have this record spawn seperately for each client?

Sorry for the newbie questions!
