tday Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Occasionally I want to reboot the server that FM 5 resides on, but I am afraid to during operation hours. Is there a way to be able to tell if there are any active sessions? Thanks, Tom
QuinTech Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Hi, Tom. Go into the Windows application log. View > Filter and filter for Event source = "FileMaker Server" Event ID = "9" This will show you all connections that have been opened. Match those up with Event ID = "15" to show which ones have been closed. The difference will show you who has a connection open. Jerry
Walter B Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 If you are running FMS and set it up to do so, double click on the Server name in the Open Remote window. That will launch the Admin functions, and you can see who is logged in and even send messages, or term sessions.
