Portal Calculation Field Used to Update ID field

This sounds really wacky, but I saw this and I'm dying to figure out how it is done.

On the CCGant FM7 project they have a calculation field that you can click on, and it shows a regular drop down (though the drop down is not listed on the field format except as an edit). Then once the field is entered, it updates the calculation, but only shows the ID field on the drop down!!!!

The rest of the time it's just the calculation. I know plenty of ways to do this with two fields and clear buttons and all that. How do you do this with just the calculation field in the portal? Can anyone tell me?

It's worth a dinner out somewhere if I get paid for my work.

Could you be more detailed. What field on what layout and which version, etc?

Milestones Layout.

This was the ::UserNAmeLastFirstCalc field.

I've already checked for "hidden" grouping but somehow, they had the field format showing as a regular edit field and it wasn't so there musy be some why to hide grouping perhaps too.

Pay Filemaker enough money and they'll show you how to accomplish it, right? =)

I downloaded CCGnatt Free. I can not find the field you are refering to.

Well go to the milestones layout off of the milestones listing in the layouts area. IN the portal of that layout, you will see the UserNAmeLastFirstCalc field. That field is the one with "extra" functionality.
