Hello,

I have this strange problem in FM6. The first time I open FM an account will not print but is recorded in FM as having being printed. The printer just does not respond (Canon i550). If I delete this recorded account (or just print a duplicate) and go through the same procedure it prints as it should. Once the first account does not print all others will then print as they should.

Update your printer driver, and lake sure you are using FMP 6.0v4 -- it's the v4 part that's important. Anything earlier needs to be patched with the free update from the FMI web site.

Thanks for your input Vaughan. I did both those things but to no avail.

I have been troubled by this for weeks but have just found out by accident what the problem is. A file that is accessed for info (doctors name list) on the account was not open the first time the account was to print. During the 'printing' process it was opened and so was ready for use the second time the account was printed.
