Newbies giantsteps Posted June 20, 2005 Newbies Share Posted June 20, 2005 Hello, I'm using SMTPit for sending email (simple & mass mailing). SMTPit-Send function returns "Success" when : - the destination address has an unknown DNS. e.g. [email protected] - the destination address has an unknown user. e.g. [email protected] Does anyone known why ? Is it possible to be notified of sending errors with SMTPit ?? Any help would be very appreciated. Regards Giantsteps
ShawnR
This is because SMTPit does not connect directly to the end address server. It sends it to your eamil server. Then the email server will bounce the message back to you when it finds a non valid address.
