Is it possible to make a dynamic archive exchange. For instance I have a database for maintaining medical records. When a patient is discharged the the records are purged from the main data base, which include item such as evaluations. daily notes , charge items, and memos for a given patient. The related record(s) are in a separate table. When a patient is discharged all the related records are exported to a folder ( 1file/table) then imported into an archive version (clone) of the main data base. Two questions. (1) can all the related records for a given patient be transfered to the cloned archive directly? (2) Is it possible to re-import these (archived) related records from the main data base using a scripted FIND should the patient be reinstated.
