June 20, 200520 yr I am wondering if anyone has any information that could point me in the direction of learning how to generate an RSS feed using FileMaker. I do not need a dynamic connection between FileMaker and the web, only to generate the correct XML syntax for the XML file. Any help would be most appreciated.
June 20, 200520 yr Since a week, we have over 2000 RSS feeds driven by FM databases and CWP (with XSLT) live. Four can be used worldwide, the other only within our domain. http://www.infochembio.ethz.ch/en/rss.html Of course, the XSLT depends on what you want to publish. Start with this thread: http://www.fmforums.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=141389&an=0&page=5#141389 And a very good book is Hammersley Ben, Content Syndication with RSS, O'Reilly, 2003, ISBN 0-596-00383-8
