littleitaly5588 Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Hi, Question: If you have a user who has access to 2 separate Account Privileges in the same file, will the account that has more privileges overide the other account? If so, how can this be prevented? Thanks!
Ender Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Each account can only be assigned to one Privilege Set. If the user has two accounts, then disable one.
Walter B Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Not exactly correct. If you are using external authentication and groups, you could have the same accountname assign to two different groups in you FM solution. In that case, the authentication process happens in the order in which the groups appear in the user list. So, the first group found would set the privileges. Also, you use the privilege set to create extended privilege sets. You could manage to deploy extended privilege which could give a user unintended privileges.
