Instant Web Publishing - Web Admin Console problem

Hi all,

I'm setting up FileMaker Pro Server 7 Advanced on a MacOS 10.3.9 system and am attempting to use Instant Web Publishing. I'm having two problems that may be related. I'm hoping that solving one will solve the other!

Here are the problems:

1) On the server, in the FileMaker Server Admin application, if I go to Configure > Clients, I have text in the Identifier and Passcode fields, but nothing shows up in the Web Admin Console field, and I know that my server should show up there. How do I get it to appear in that field?

2) On a client system (MacOS 10.4.1 running Safari) I can see the name of the hosted database via Instant Web Publishing but when I click on the database name to open it, I get the following error message:

"JavaScript - Unknown error number 802."

I've looked it up and error 802 is "Can't open file." Any suggestions as to why that's occurring and how I fix it?

Well, there it is. I'm hoping that one of you FileMaker wizards out there can walk me through the solution to these issues. I'm SO CLOSE to having my wonderful databases published on the web!

Thanks for your help!

Scott

Stupid questions:

- is iwp turned on in the database

- is the file 'open' in the server admin console

- in the Web console, is the iwp active in the published databases section

- did you add an 'extended privilege' called 'fmiwp' and added it to the users that want to acces the database over the net?

- did you plug it in?

Hope it helps, let me know if not.
