I'd like to print a FileMaker Pro report to formatted text instead of paper. The reason is that I need to take the formatted text and place it into an Adobe InDesign document and retain the ability to edit or modify the text and formatting within InDesign. I've tried using the export feature, which is very cumbersome and won't give me the exact output I need. I've also tried printing to a PDF, but when I import the file into InDesign it breaks all of the tabbed text into individual objects.

In my Mac OS 9 days I remember being able to do this. Any suggestions?
