Newbies maxi_gmv Posted July 6, 2005 Newbies Posted July 6, 2005 Hi, we're using FM Developer 7 and sharing a Solution with FM Server, we were working with no problems for several months but last week, when someones try to connect to the solution a message appears that The License Key is in conflict with user XXXX where XXXX is a developer, and the solution never gets opened. I've search KB in filemaker.com and forums but I didn't find any useful info. The full message text is as follows: [color:"red"] The maximum number of licensed users are currently using this copy of FileMaker Pro. Please refer to the Licence Key section of your software documentation for further instructions. License Key conflict with user "Hernan" [color:"blue"] any help? Thanks a lot in advance
stanley Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Maximiliano: Welcome to the Forums. That message would indicate that you've got multiple users running FMP with the same single-user license code. If you run the Server Admin tool, you can see who is connected to the server, and determine where the conflict is happening. This message also comes up when you exceed the maximum allowed number of users on a volume license. -Stanley
