Server 5.5 slow on XP pro...

I installed server 5.5 on a Dell 3Ghz processor, w/ 1 GB of RAM, and 7200 RPM drive. Filemaker is extremely slow when we open it. On the original pc we already have it running and it is fine, that pc has half the RAM and a slower processor and the same speed HDD.

I also installed all database's (total of 18) into the FMPRO server 5.5 folder. Is that where they are supposed to go? Even accessing the database from the server Filemaker is unbelievably slow.

**UPDATE**

Currently I am not even starting the server up. I just open FP 6 for the clients and use my pc as the host (I open Filemaker 6 first). So lost, please help.

Any suggestions?
