hi.

i bought this barcode reader and i thought to use it to input serial numbers (with barcodes) in my filemaker database. i defined the field as text (and also as number) but when i scan the barcode, i see the serial number for 1 second and it then disappears.

is there anyone who had this problem and found a solution? or am i generally doing something wrong?

i also want to add that the barcode reader seems to work, because i could input data in a text editor and i see the serial number.
