Does anyone know if there are performance improvements when doing finds in FileMaker 7? If so, do these improvements include when your find request includes a related field?

Yes, the speed of finds on related fields is greatly improved in FM7. This is especially noticable on a slow network, where the find is processed by the host and the results are sent to the client. These now take 5-10 seconds where they may have taken hours before over a WAN.
