My question is:

I have created a document made up of 9 layouts with records to be added to each layout by the user.

Now the users are different and I want them to have individual access, with others not seeing what they are entering in each layout.

Is this possible to do with one document, or do I have to duplicate it and give each user their own?

You can use acces privileges to do this.

The "how" depends on what version you are using.
