I have a script which automatically imports (on a Mac) the last photo from a digital camera into a field.

This works fine, but one thing I've noticed is that if there is no camera connected, it pops-up an error message and then goes ahead and imports whatever the last image that was imported into the field.

Is it possible to check to see if the camera is, in fact connected somehow and then not do the import?
