Who can help me with this?

I want to convert text from a Value List to a number to another field. Each textline has to have it's own number. For example: 8001 DTP > 75, 8002 Design > 100, 8003 Correction > 120, etc.

The number will be used for calculation.

Create a related file with two fields and records containing pairs of corresponding data:

8001 DTP, 75

8002 Design, 100

8003 Correction, 120 etc.

Then, just access the appropriate number via the relationship. And, you can make your value list based on the first field in this related file.
