Print a 3-4 pages document

Featured Replies

OK, here I go with the explanation, I hope to be as clear as I need to be:

I have a database of artists, clients, invoices, etc. I need to add a contract, this contract is about 3 to 4 pages long, but the information and clauses differ from one to other, so there are minor changes each time a new contract is done. The contract grabs info from the artists database and the fields are filled automatically.

Now the big question here is: How can I make that when printing the contract, the layout resizes automatically so it only prints the pages that the contract needs?. Lets say, it is always a 4 pages contract, but sometimes it wil only be 3 and others up to 5.

The text right now is on a Word document and the variable data like artist name, client name, etc are filled manually and the info of the contract is changed depending on the event, so there is a word document per contract.

I really need to figure this out, because I have no idea how to make a layout expand or collapse according to the contents.

Thank you very much and congrats for this great forums !
