how do i set it up so that in field 1 there is a value list, and depending on wich value i choose from that list, in field 2 a certian value list is defeined for that field, and if i pick a different value from field 1 the list in field 2 will change

i have done the search for +conditional +value +list as everyone has said...but i don't think that is problem..all examples i can find are of soemone choseing a value in a list and a individual value appearing in the other field...i want a whole pop up list to appear and i want to choose a value from it myself

I've added this ability in my database, and I've attached a simple example showing you how I did it. Take a look at it and let me know if you have any questions. I'm not saying this is the best way, but it's how I did it.

Try compressing the file to either .zip or .sit and repost.

I've compressed the file; hopefully this time it works. If not, I looked at RalphL's file and it does the same thing as mine, plus it has an explanation and some extra functionality. The only real difference is that mine is one file instead of two.
