picture portal set up

the boss man wants a portal that displays a graphic...and well i don't know how...alittle help?

A graphic embedded in a field in a record? Or a field referencing an external graphic file? In the same table or a different table? How many graphics in the portal (approx.)? It's not difficult, but we need more info.

The thing I find surprising is that the boss asked for a portal. So he knows some FileMaker.

yes he does know some filemaker but he hasn't used it for along time and we eneded up solving the problem with out the use of a portal but with the use of the open url script applied to a field with the filepath typed in
