I want to copy the value of a calculation field in one table to a field in a related record on a related table. I tried all kinds of scripts and calculations but I'm not getting the result I need. Am I overlooking something simple?

This application requires single or multiple ticket numbers for each registration in a particular city. [Location] table contains one record for each location. New records are created in the related [registration] table. I have the ticket numbers(incremental numbers)based on the [location::last number used]. So, when new #s auto-enter in [registration::tkt], I want [location::last_number_used] to be updated. Possible?

I'm stuck on this, any help appreciated.

That it might very well be a loosely based assumtion, that the measures provided in the tool, not as earlier tunnels values via calcfields except in historic documents as itemlines in an invoice where prices can't change to adjustments in the warehouse price.

You're simply guided, by the way the tool works, to avoid the number of unstored calcfields used earlier on.

Thank you for responding. Not sure I understand but perhaps I didn't give a clear statement of my problem. I have come up with an answer which will work until I learn more.

All wan't to COPY, but few does actually need to ...in a relational database isn't ideally designed for moving data around, but instead to have each atomic data stored in one single place, and instead referenced.

Relational databases seek to overcome syncronization issues, by storing as much as posible in it's own unique location, while the presentation of the data can take endless permutations.

Sets are results of seaches or relational dependencies, and not by copying and pasting data to new locations.
