Adobe Form Data File

Hi there,

We have not purchased FileMaker yet, or I could probably answer this question myself...

I work for an aviation services company where our client uses electronic forms created in Adobe Acrobat (Designer.) They currently use FileMaker, but have the electronic form send the data to a folder. Then, they manually enter that information into their FileMaker database.

Our question, is can we take this information easily into FileMaker without them having to manually enter the records? I am 99% positive you can since the information is exported as XML and I read in some other resources that FM can handle XML. My question is, how hard is this to implement?

I plan to download the trial and play with it, but wanted to know before I start if it will take a programmer to do this (we have a full IT staff, I just need to know the complexity), or if this is something I could do myself.

Thanks in advance :
