Just downloaded a trial copy of FM 8 and it would'nt install on my Windows XP Pro. Major probem is that its looking for Service Pak 2. We have not installed SP 2 because it renders older software inoperable. How am I to get around this other that installing SP2?

Install virtual PC, and install a supported operating system on that. Or use windows terminal services, and you can run it that way.
