Hi,

I'm trying to print a quote and seem to be having difficulties as certain parts of the layout are missing when I go into 'Preview Mode' although they show up in Browse Mode.

I have 2 tables tbl_quote and tble__quote_line_items, the layout being based on the latter.

The layout has a subsummary part (leading) sorted by tble_quote_line_items::Quote No - this appears in browse but not in Preview.

Similarly, the subsummary part (trailing) which includes the line item total does not show up either.

I have tried "sorting' manually but to no avail.

Have I got the wrong end of the stick somewhere? Perhaps I am using the wrong parts or something?

Hi,

Have you created a script to run this report? You get a choice when you create a report layout that do you want to create a script and is recommended. Try it. You should be able to see sub summary data in preview mode and sub summary data or part would not be visible in browse mode.

Many thanks for that. I had done that but somehow those fields had been formatted not to print. Sometimes the answer is so simple but you just can't see for looking!
