Report printing - shrink and grow

I'm developing a report that contains several text fields drawn from a related file and located in the header. The 'sliding' option works fine, however I can't seem to find a 'grow' option. It seems you have to preset field sizes to cater for the greatest amount of text they can potentially hold. Unfortunately the layout area has to be large enough to accomodate these giant fields, and when shrinking takes place large areas of white space are visible between the header and the body (contaning fields from the current file 'm:n relationship'). Surely there's a way around this? Any expert FP guidance welcome. Thanks, Mike.

I couldn't find this option either. Seems a little silly to only have one option and not the other. Interested to hear responses.
