bring FM7 to foreground

I use FM7 under windows. When a script ( that is triggerd by a barcode-scanner) ends, my application is not active anymore. I have a grey titlebar in stead of a blue one.

It's not what I want because the application is meant to run whitout keyboard or mouse (only barcode-scanner & touchscreen).

I can't find a scriptstep to activate the application, they all seam to be made for the windows, layouts, fields but not for the application it self.

Any suggestions?

thanks a lot

Koen

did you try to at the end of a script putting in a go to layout...that way it may reactivate the application before finishing the script and you would then be on a specified layout

I tried all the following scriptsteps:

go to layout

go to field

go to record

view as

select window

none off them work

you think maybe a freeze window then a refresh window...i'm not really sure just throwing ideas out

You may have to resort to calling a script outside of filemaker. VBScript, AutoIt or Winbatch should be able to bring filemaker to the foreground, and calls to these external scripts can be placed at the end of your script
