I have set up users with limited access (ie. cannot delete records or modify layouts). These users are not able to copy and paste or right click.

Any ideas how I can allow the users to do this?

I thought about using fields and scripts to move date around but sometimes users need to copy text from outside of FileMaker.

In the Edit Privilege Set dialog, there's a menu selection for what kind of menu access to allow. If this is set to "Editing Only", users in that privilege set should have access to copy and paste.

Fixed!! So simple but this solves all my outstanding FM isues.

You want to be careful when copying text from outside the program that you do not introduce corrupted ASCII characters into your database.
