nmb Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 (edited) Ladies and Gents: I have been browsing thru several topics about the grueling process of FMSA7 intallation. I am running w2k, basic authorization under iis with wpe on one computer and fms7 on another. I had a problem with some databases not showing up under the "published databases" screen, so I added the fmsadmin extended privilege to enable it to do so...hopefully. However, when I did this, my FM Server wasn't recognized in wpe... and hasn't been recognized since--even after a reinstall of fmsa7. Do I really need to reinstall fms7 on the other machine? It's running great and hosting my databases without a hitch? This program is really a pain to install. I mean what combination will it take to get them reconnected again? Restart IIS, restart FMSA, restart FMS7, reboot, unistall, reinstall, repeat, do the hokey-pokey? Edited September 21, 2005 by Guest
nmb Posted September 21, 2005 Author Posted September 21, 2005 Sorry, I think I vented. Although no databases show up under "published databases" under the web pub admin console. All extended privileges have been given.
