I have been told that some program are not compatible with new 64 bit hardware.

Has anyone tried running sever 7 on a 64 bit system?

Im running it on dual athlon 64 hp proliant no problems yet

You can run FMS 7 and FMS 8 on 64 bit processors. Hower the service does not take advnatge of 64 bit processing.

A somewhat related item:

Do not run FMS 7 Advanced on dual processor G-5 or Xeon processors. Also, do not enable hyperthreading under Windows Server 2003. Both situations can cause problems with FMS7 Advanced.
